Hey Love World,
I hope you all are doing well as we prepare for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving!!!! We all have so much to be thankful for!! Amongst the top of my list is my Love family. You guys rock! Chad and I are preparing to leave to head south (Charlotte, Florence (SC), and Myrtle Beach (SC)) which is a 12-13 hour drive but I just had to drop by to say hello and tell you I finally did it, I kept my word to me.
Have you ever promised yourself that you were going to do something and you didn’t ?
You said you were going to start exercising, but you were too tired.
You said you were going to saving money, but the sale at the mall kept calling your name.
You said you were going to stop saying the not-so-kind words and phrases, but that person made you do it.
You said you were going to start that business, but you didn’t because of fear.
I believe at this point you can apply the statement “If you can’t say amen, just say ouch”. If you’re like me I’ve said ouch to most of these at one point or another in my life. To be honest, I’ve thought long and hard about blogging and didn’t start because of fear. What if no one reads it? What if I’m not good enough? What if I’m wasting my time? All of these thoughts have circulated my mind like an upside down snow globe. It’s gotten so bad at times that I would become frustrated and sad. With all of these thoughts circulating my mind one day different questions entered my head. What if you are better than you think? What if you are wasting I your time worried about nothing because when you start you are going to sky rocket? Once these questions entered my mind I realized I have nothing to lose. I’m now beginning to make baby steps to building my Me Self Love empire. My goal is to spread love to myself and others and inspire the world to do the same one kind gesture to another.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of dropping off the gift card to the family of 12. Though it was a major blessing to them I believe I was shown the biggest lesson ever, the most important word you will ever have to keep is your own. When you keep your word to yourself the outcome will always end well. The family of 12 will be able to enjoy a holiday meal with no worries all because I followed through with what I said I was going to do. So no matter who listens to your business pitch or sees your new product the most important person to ever lay eyes on your gift to the world will be you. There is someone in the world that needs your gift so they can continue on in their journey! What have you talked about for years but have not completed? Go Forth. Be Bold. Be Great. Click To Tweet
